Our Reviews
If you own or manage a building that has various rooms
Or areas that can only be accessed by certain people, you should consider a master key suite. This hierarchical key system allows for greater safety and efficiency by granting access to anyone holding the right key, such as a security officer or a member of your maintenance or cleaning staff. A master key will allow them to enter any restricted area (or, at least, a designated number of restricted areas) without having to carry dozens of keys, one for each room in the building.

Master Key Suite Installation
Once you’re satisfied with the design of your new master key system, our team of experienced professional locksmiths will proceed with the installation. This will involve replacing all locks in the building to ensure they match the hierarchy we’ve written into the design. All locks are fully tested, making sure that your security measures are met.
Hierarchical Master Key Suites
We can install a master key suite that has various levels of access, depending on your needs. This means that restricted areas can only be accessed by personnel with the right level of authority and the key to match, while those with less authority can still reach the areas they need to be able to complete their job.

uPVC Lock Repairs FAQs
It is the strip inside the door edge that moves several locking points when the handle is lifted and the key is turned. The cylinder, handle and gearbox work with that strip. A fault in one part can feel like complete lock failure, so the mechanism should be diagnosed before components are replaced.
This commonly points to alignment rather than an internal lock fault. The door may have dropped, expanded or shifted so hooks, rollers or bolts no longer enter their keeps. Continued force can damage the gearbox, which is why both door position and mechanism operation should be checked promptly.
It can, but stiffness may also result from misalignment or resistance at the locking points. Test observations should include whether the handle moves freely with the door open and whether the key turns normally. Identifying the source avoids replacing a gearbox while leaving the alignment problem that caused the strain.
Often the cylinder is a separate component and can be replaced independently, but this depends on the fault and condition of the remaining hardware. If the gearbox, strip or locking points are damaged, a cylinder alone will not restore reliable operation. A proper inspection distinguishes the affected parts.
Avoid relying on it until the fixings and internal operation have been checked. Loose screws, worn handles or strain from a misaligned mechanism can all be involved. Simply tightening visible screws may not resolve an underlying fault, particularly if lifting the handle has recently become harder.
Close the door fully before lifting the handle, avoid forcing the key and address rubbing or dropping early. Keep the threshold and frame clear, and observe whether seasonal movement changes the fit. Correct alignment allows the locking points to engage smoothly and reduces unnecessary pressure on the gearbox.
